“Two interventions make a family whole again!”
“One day when my children and I were visiting the Humane Association, a neighbor walked in. He was there to find a dog for a friend whose dog had gone missing weeks earlier. The friend was distraught about the loss and my neighbor hoped that another dog would help ease the pain.
While we were standing there talking in the lobby, a woman walked in with a dog on a leash. My neighbor cried out incredulously, spoke the dog’s name, and the dog began wagging his tail furiously! It was the friend’s missing dog! The lady explained that she had found the dog weeks ago, had tried desperately to find his owner without any luck, and was finally bringing him to the shelter. It was a GLORIOUS reunion! My neighbor and the lady gave each other a hug.
I’ll never forget that serendipitous moment. What were the chances?! There is good in the world.”
