“Lassie is the classic family dog. Her very name symbolizes loyalty, courage, beauty and grace, and most of all everyone’s love for pets. She recently lost her home through no fault of her own. That was very sad. And this is a dog who was really made for a home (with no other pets). Lassie loves people! She is a wonderful, friendly, long-legged girl and from what we can tell she is an Anatolian Shepherd. She is super sweet and gentle to people but would do best without any other animals in the house. Lassie is 10.5 years old but she is a new kind of “doggie boomer”. She’s lived a long life but she still has plenty of things on her bucket list. There are sunrays to absorb, people to befriend and many more treats to enjoy. And Lassie intends to do it all!

Lassie weighs 80 pounds – she is a big loveable girl with copper colored eyes and brownish/red/golden hair. She would probably be best in a family with no other pets but she’s ready and willing to give you as much love as an entire pack!
